The Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela was organized at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Srinagar Garhwal, on August 24, 2026. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, who lit the ceremonial lamp. The Hon’ble Minister commended the Government of India’s initiative to bridge the skills gap through the participation of various establishments and extended his best wishes to the participants. In his address, the Institute’s Principal, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, welcomed all the guests, company representatives, and candidates, while also highlighting key aspects of the apprenticeship program. Several companies, including Yuva Shakti Foundation (Haridwar), Mahindra & Mahindra (SIDCUL, Haridwar), Tata Motors (Pantnagar), and ITC Limited (Haridwar), participated in the apprenticeship fair. Approximately 200 trainees took part in the event.
