Today, on May 23, 2026, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Director of Skill Development and Employment, conducted an inspection of the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Srinagar Garhwal. During the inspection of all trades offered at the institute, trainees currently undergoing instruction were questioned regarding job-related aspects of their respective trades and were provided with appropriate guidance for their future prospects. The Director apprised the students regarding the ‘Center of Excellence’ initiative. Furthermore, he directed the institute’s workshop instructors and trainers to undertake extensive promotional activities to ensure maximum student admissions for the upcoming training session (2026–27), and also instructed them to facilitate placement opportunities for the trainees.
